Can the POS handle corporate catering orders?

Yes. Catering orders can be taken as their own order type, with a customer record, delivery time and notes. Large quantities and set packages are built as products, and the kitchen screen shows them next to dine-in orders. Several payment methods can settle one invoice, including partial payments.

Many Abu Dhabi restaurants cook for offices, sites and events as well as their dining room. Keeping catering in the same POS means one stock count, one sales report and one VAT report.

Tax invoices for catering carry your TRN, the VAT amount and the customer's name. Customer groups help you track repeat corporate clients.

  • Catering as its own order type
  • Customer records for repeat clients
  • TRN and VAT on every invoice
  • One report for dine-in and catering

How does it work for a Mussafah canteen?

A canteen needs speed. The Counter plan gives one register, a short menu, a kitchen screen and fast cash or card payment. Fixed meals become products, and add-ons like extra bread or a drink are priced modifiers. At close, the register report shows cash and card totals for the day.

Canteen teams often read Urdu, Hindi or Malayalam more easily than English. Urdu screens are set up, and other languages can be added through editable translations.

If you serve monthly meal plans for workers, track those customers as a group and record payments against their accounts.

  • Fast counter ordering
  • Fixed meals and priced add-ons
  • Urdu screens for the team
  • Customer groups for meal plans

What do Abu Dhabi family restaurants need?

Family restaurants need large tables on the floor plan, split checks, Arabic and English menus, and bookings for weekends and occasions. Restaurant POS Studio covers all of these, with VAT-inclusive prices and bilingual tax invoices that show your TRN, so the bill is clear to every guest.

Weekends bring big family groups, and Ramadan brings full iftar seatings. The bookings calendar holds table, staff and time, and set menus can be fired by course.

A QR contactless menu in Arabic and English lets guests read the menu on their phones, using the same products and prices as the POS.

  • Joined tables for large families
  • Bookings for weekends and Ramadan
  • Arabic and English QR menu
  • Bilingual tax invoices

What our onboarding desk checks first for restaurants here.

  • Set up catering as a separate order type from day one, so catering sales are easy to see in reports.
  • Add your TRN to the receipt layout of each location, including any branch in Mussafah or on the islands.
  • Give canteen staff Urdu screens and their own PINs, so every order and payment is tied to the right person.
  • Prepare Ramadan iftar set menus and booking slots a week ahead, then switch them off after Eid without deleting them.
