See what your current POS really costs
This restaurant POS savings calculator compares what you pay today with what you would pay on our plans. Enter your locations, your monthly POS fee, extra fees and add-ons, and your website and marketing tools. The result is an estimate, so check your own statements before you decide.

Your bill vs ours
How the estimate works
- Start with your current billEnter your monthly software fee per location, as shown on your statement, and the number of locations.
- Add the fees around itAdd PCI fees, statement fees, online ordering add-ons, loyalty or gift card add-ons and extra kitchen screens.
- Add website and marketingAdd what you pay for your restaurant website platform and any CRM or texting tool.
- Match a planThe calculator picks the plan that covers the same features and uses its published price in your currency.
- Show the differenceIt shows the monthly and yearly difference. Card processing fees are left out, because they stay with your processor.
Assumptions
- Card processing fees are not included, because they depend on your processor and stay the same when you switch software.
- Prices for our plans come from our pricing page in your selected currency.
- Competitor prices are only what you enter; we do not guess your contract.
- Hardware purchases and leases are left out unless you enter a monthly lease amount.
- Results are illustrative estimates, not a quote or a promise of savings.
What hidden costs should I look for on my POS bill?
Look past the headline software fee. Many restaurant POS bills include a PCI compliance fee, statement fees, per-terminal fees, extra charges for kitchen screens, and paid add-ons for online ordering, loyalty and gift cards. Hardware leases and long contracts can also add cost. Each one belongs in the calculator.
Pull your last three statements, from the software company and from your card processor. Some fees appear on one and not the other. Write down every monthly line, even small ones. Large vendors often sell online ordering, loyalty, payroll and marketing as separate add-ons. Each looks small. Together they can cost more than the core POS plan.
A hardware lease is easy to miss because it runs for years. Add the monthly lease amount, and note when it ends. Also check for charges that come once a year, such as annual software renewals, and divide them by twelve. Then add everything together. Most owners are surprised by the total, because the extras were spread across several bills.
- PCI and statement fees
- Per-terminal and kitchen screen charges
- Online ordering and loyalty add-ons
- Hardware lease payments
Why does the calculator leave out card processing fees?
Card fees depend on your processor, your card mix and your contract, not on the POS software. With our POS you keep your own card processor, so those fees usually do not change when you switch. Leaving them out keeps the comparison honest: software against software, add-on against add-on.
Some POS companies require you to use their payment processing, and some bundle a lower software price with higher card rates. If that is your setup, ask your processor for your effective rate and compare it separately. Because we work with your processor's terminal, your card relationship stays with the processor or bank you choose. You can shop processors on your own schedule.
If you know your current processor will charge more without the bundled software, note it next to your result. Keeping card fees out also stops the calculator from promising savings it cannot see. Your processor's rates are between you and them. Our part of the bill is the software, and that is what the calculator measures.
- Your processor sets card fees
- Keep or change processors freely
- Compare effective rates separately
- No PCI or statement fees from us
How accurate is the savings estimate?
It is as accurate as the numbers you enter. The calculator does simple arithmetic: your current monthly costs minus the published price of the matching plan. It does not know about discounts in your contract or fees we cannot see. Treat the result as an illustrative estimate and check it on your demo.
We do not fill in competitor prices for you, because contracts vary. One owner pays list price, another negotiated a discount, a third is still in a promotional year. If you are unsure what a fee is, bring your statement to the demo. We can go line by line with you and show which ones would go away and which would stay.
Annual billing on our plans is cheaper than monthly. The calculator can show both. Annual billing on our plans costs less than paying month to month, and the calculator can show both. Use the monthly figure if you want the freedom to cancel any month, and the annual figure if you plan to stay.
- Based on your own numbers
- Illustrative, not a quote
- Monthly and annual billing shown

What numbers do I need to use the savings calculator?
Your monthly POS software fee per location, the number of locations, and any extra fees and add-ons from your statements. Add your website and marketing tool costs if you want the full picture. Rough numbers work for a first look.
Does the calculator include hardware costs?
Only if you enter a monthly lease or payment amount. Hardware you already own is not counted, because you can often reuse tablets and ESC/POS printers. Check our hardware page for what commonly works.
Why might my savings be smaller than the calculator shows?
Your contract may include discounts, or you may face an early-termination fee if you leave before the term ends. Card rates may also change if your current software and processing are bundled. Check your contract before you switch.
Can I save or send my result?
You can copy the result or take a screenshot to share with a partner or bookkeeper. If you book a demo from the calculator, bring your result and we will check it with you.
Are competitor prices filled in automatically?
No. You enter what you pay today, because contracts and discounts differ. Our comparison pages list published prices with the date we checked, if you need a starting point.
Does the calculator count the online store and QR menu?
Yes. If you pay for online ordering or a QR menu today, enter that cost. Every plan includes an online store built from your menu with no commission, so the calculator counts it as covered.
Which plan does the calculator compare me to?
It picks the plan that covers the features you entered. Multi-location reporting or payroll points to the Group plan, coursing and tip pooling to Full Service. You can switch the plan in the calculator to see the others.
Does the result include tax?
No. Results are before sales tax or VAT, so you compare like with like. In the UAE, our plan prices are shown including VAT on the pricing page.
