Accessibility Statement

In plain words
- We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA on this website.
- You can use the whole site with a keyboard, and focus is always visible.
- The accessibility widget lets you enlarge text, raise contrast, highlight links and reduce motion.
- Arabic and Urdu pages read right to left.
- Tell us about a barrier through the contact form and we reply within 2 business days.
Our commitment
Restaurant POS Studio is run by SOHOON Technologies. We want every restaurant owner, manager and team member to be able to read this website, compare plans and contact us, whatever device, assistive technology or language they use.
Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We test pages as we build them and fix problems when we find them. This statement describes where we are today. It is not a certification, and we have not been audited by an outside body.
What we have built in
- Keyboard navigation. Every menu, button, link, pricing toggle and form field can be reached and used with a keyboard. A “skip to content” link appears first on each page.
- Visible focus. The element you are on always has a clear outline, in light and dark themes.
- Reduced motion. If your device asks for reduced motion, scrolling effects and animations are turned off or made very short. You can also switch motion off in the widget.
- Text scaling. The accessibility widget enlarges text in steps. The layout reflows so you do not need to scroll sideways, and the site also respects your browser zoom.
- Contrast mode. A higher-contrast colour mode makes text and controls easier to see.
- Link highlight. Underlines and outlines every link so links are not shown by colour alone.
- Right-to-left languages. Arabic and Urdu pages are laid out right to left, with the language set correctly so screen readers pronounce them properly.
- Structure. Pages use real headings, lists, tables and landmarks, so screen readers can move around quickly.
- Forms. Every field has a visible label. Errors are written in text, not only shown in red, and they say how to fix the problem.
- Touch targets. Buttons and links are sized for fingers on phones and tablets.
Your widget settings are saved in your browser only, so they stay in place on your next visit.
Known limitations
We are honest about what is not perfect yet:
- Illustrations. Many pictures on the site are generated illustrations of a dinner service. They are decorative and are hidden from screen readers. Where a picture carries information, such as a screenshot of a kitchen screen, we describe it in text nearby.
- Third-party widgets. Some parts come from other providers and we cannot fully control them. The Cloudflare Turnstile check on the contact form is one example. Most of the time it runs without any action, but if it asks for a challenge and you cannot complete it, contact us another way and we will help.
- Embedded booking and CRM tools. If a page shows a calendar or form provided by a third party, its accessibility depends on that provider.
- Translated pages. Some new pages may appear in English first before translation is finished.
We review these limits and will update this page as they are fixed.
The POS application
This statement covers the public website. The POS application you log into has its own interface. Staff can choose their own interface language, including Arabic and Urdu right to left. If someone on your team has trouble using the POS because of a disability, tell us. We will look for a setting or workaround and record the issue for improvement.
How to report a barrier
If you find something on this website you cannot use, please tell us. Use the form on our contact page and choose accessibility in your message, or use the “Show email” button on the contact page. Please include:
- the page address or name;
- what you were trying to do;
- the device, browser and any assistive technology you use, if you are comfortable sharing it.
We reply within 2 business days. If we cannot fix the problem right away, we will give you the information you need in another format, such as plan details in a plain message, and tell you when we expect to fix it.
How we check
We check pages with automated tools, keyboard-only testing, screen reader spot checks and zoom testing at phone, tablet and desktop sizes. Automated tools find only some problems, so your reports are an important part of how we improve.
Updates to this statement
We review this statement when we make major changes to the website. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
