How does the POS work for late-night BBQ in Karachi?
BBQ orders go straight to the grill station's screen, with pieces, plates and spice levels on the ticket. Bread goes to the tandoor station separately. Ticket timers show which table has waited longest, and the floor plan shows open tables, so the late-night rush keeps moving after midnight.
Seekh kebab, tikka and malai boti can be sold by piece, by plate or as platters. Raita, salad and extra naan are priced add-ons. The server rings it in once and each station sees only its part.
Late closing times mean the business day can run past midnight. Reports follow your trading day, so a service that ends at 2 AM still counts as one night.
- Grill and tandoor station routing
- Sell by piece, plate or platter
- Ticket timers for the rush
- Reports that follow late trading days
How is sales tax set up in Karachi?
Restaurant services in Karachi fall under the Sindh Revenue Board. Set the Sindh rate that applies to your restaurant on the location, and the POS adds it to the bill. Rates can differ by payment method or change with the budget, so confirm the current rate with your tax advisor.
If you also run a branch in Lahore or Islamabad, that branch follows Punjab or federal rules instead. Each location in Restaurant POS Studio has its own rate and receipt layout, including your tax number.
If your restaurant must report invoices to a tax authority system, ask us before you switch so we can confirm how it will work for your branch.
- Sindh rate set on the location
- Your tax number on every bill
- Separate setup for branches in other provinces
- Daily tax report
How do I keep service going during load-shedding?
Put your internet router and receipt printer on a UPS, keep a mobile data hotspot ready, and charge tablets before service. The POS runs in a browser with your data on our servers, so orders already saved are safe during a power cut. Most outages pass without stopping service.
Many Karachi restaurants already run a generator or UPS for lights and fans. Add the router and printer to that circuit. A second internet line from a different provider is a good backup for a busy branch.
Test your backup before a busy night: switch off the main line, connect to the hotspot, and print a test ticket.
- UPS for router and printer
- Mobile data hotspot as backup
- Charge tablets before service
- Test the backup before a busy night
